If you would like to participate in international studies, following resources are available :
In the Covid-19 era, several PICU-data registries are ongoing and we encourage our members to participate in these. Regarding Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C), no consensus regarding optimal treatment is available. As an alternative to randomised controlled treatment trials for the new SARS-CoV-2 associated disorders PICU-professionals are invited to join a study, designed by the DIAMONDS consortium led by Prof Levin at the Imperial College in London, UK, which is termed “best available treatment study”. The investigators believe that their approach will enable rapid evaluation of the available therapeutic modalities and rapidly provide answers on the questions as to which patients to treat, which treatments work, and which may be harmful.
